Beam Error - Motor Controller Board (-6004)

If your Beam Standard or Enhanced system is displaying a motor controller board error, we recommend the following troubleshooting in efforts to clear the error: 

Motor Controller Board Reset
  1. Lay the Beam gently on its side.
  2. On the bottom of the base, you should see four large holes and one very small hole. The small hole is a reset button.
  3. Using a paperclip or other sufficient tool, press the reset button.
  4. Return the Beam to a standing position.
  5. Roll the Beam back onto the charging dock and wait for it to reboot.
  6. Check for persistent errors.
