Pushing Beam
Beam is designed to be controlled remotely; however, we understand there may be times that you need to manually move the device. For this occasion, our engineers established, "Push Me" mode. A Beam is always in "Push Me" mode when powered on.
Keep in mind, you might experience a resistance if the device gets tipped while pushing. The Beam has accelerometers to detect when it's on a slope. It will automatically apply reverse torque to keep itself from involuntarily rolling. It has the ability to tell the difference between the acceleration of gravity and the acceleration due to pushing; however, if it gets tipped, it may be fooled into thinking it's on an incline. So when pushing or pulling, try and keep it level.
We have found that pulling is easier than pushing. Try it out next time!
