Beam Error - Connecting, Checking Configuration
When configuring your Beam to a network, the system must establish a connection with the Beam infrastructure. If your Beam connection pauses indefinitely at the "Connecting: Checking configuration..." stage (as shown left), it is likely due to outdated server certificates.
A security certificate allowing authentication to communicate with Beam servers expired on all Beam devices on September 30, 2021. If your beam was not powered on and connected to the Beam infrastructure between Sept 15 and Sept 30, 2021, the system will require manual intervention.
